Burger Reviews

This is not just another burger review site. To say we love burgers is an understatement. Initially started by two friends, Cheeseburgerme is a website dedicated to finding the best burgers on the planet, literally. These burgers could come from the popular stop outs across the United Kingdom or the United States. We have been known to dabble in the high priced patty combinations in Dubai. While we are well travelled, reviewing burgers is somewhat of a hobby on steroids. Business meetings are conducted with splatters of sauce on the cheek for a certain one of us (you will figure out who!)

We won’t just stop there. The perfect grill is also sought at home. So, in our blogs, we talk about everything burger, from the best patties to buy from the shelf to the perfect ingredients to replicate some of our favourite burgers. Needless to say, hours upon hours have been spent searing our eyebrows at the grill. An innate fastidiousness drives us both to continue our search for burger perfection.

How the Patty Crumbles: The Science of Reviewing Burgers

We love our post match sports analysis so why should eating our favourite meal be any different?  So we analyze cheeseburgers the same way we analyze our favorite clubs, whether a loss to a lower division side in the Cup or after upsetting Real Madrid, position by position. As you can probably tell we are both soccer fans. We take our burgers as seriously as we take our soccer analysis. Hence, our analysis for each component of a burger stack makes for intriguing conversation at home!

    The Bun – The Keeper

Needs to fend off sogginess from juicy patties and excess condiments. Should also contribute to the taste.

    Toppings – The Back Four

Maybe don’t get the credit they deserve but when they have an off night, you lose.

    Condiments – The Midfield

Everyone uses them a little differently. Creativity can be rewarded, or punished so important to get your strategy right.

    Cheese – The Forwards

A potential for dazzling performances, and when missing things go flat quickly. But need to keep in mind it’s a team game and not try to steal the show.

    Patty – The Striker

You can have a great team behind you, but if you don’t score you don’t win. Needs to be a star for top marks.

    Taste – The Manager

It’s not about having superstars at every position, although that seldom hurts. It’s much more important to get the team chemistry right.
