Vegan Burger, Kim K and Beyond Meat The world of vegan substitutes seem to be teetering on the edge of a rocket ship aiming straight at the very essence of good carnivore 101’s; the Burger. I am genuinely surprised at the way “ambassadors” continue their intrusion on different markets, using their social influence to obtain revenue from companies that could be considered morally incorrect to say the least. We will get on to Kim Kardashian in due course, but firstly I think we should address the elephant in the room, with a completely unbiased and opinionated article by yours truly.…

Last week, McDonald’s released an item on its UK menu called Chilli Cheese Bites. The snack consists of either four or 12 deep-fried balls coated in a chili pepper batter and served with a tomato dipping sauce. Burger King first started a conversation on Facebook by posting: “Can I copy your homework?” In response, people would say: “Yeah just change it doesn’t look obvious you copied.” The photo of the Burger King meal, which is also called “Chilli Cheese Bites” includes a side-by-side comparison with a similar McDonald’s snack, as well as a caption that reads: “Burger King Chilli Cheese…

McDonald’s may soon be coming to a metaverse near you. The fast-food giant filed 10 trademark applications only weeks ago related to entering the metaverse, including virtual restaurants that deliver to your real-world home. The filings to the US Patent and Trademark Office on 4 February, interestingly also cover ‘virtual concerts’ under both the McDonald’s and McCafé brands. Whilst all things metaverse may still sound somewhat questionable for some, the world’s big brands are investing hundreds of billions into it. As with all new technologies that succeed, early adopters benefit disproportionately. The world is becoming a more interesting place by…

It was a brave move for Honest Burgers to bring out a London Vegan Burger only restaurant, and it must have been a pretty “trending” decision for the business. Irrespective of their bravery, The Times reported last week that Honest Burgers, alongside many others, will be closing their “meat-free” stores. Does this mean that the meat-free, vegan bandwagon, is coming to an end? The London Vegan Burger, Honest Edition Ok, so the menu in V Honest Burgers does include one of our a favourites that we reviewed during the pandemic, the infamous Tribute Burger. That stack was one hell of a…

Korean BBQ can be hit and miss depending on where you head to in the UK. The fine meats are usually cooked on intense heat, rendering the fat into the meat at lightning speed, leaving nothing but tasty rich flavour. Having been to a number of Korean BBQ restaurants and enjoyed the familiar settings of a hot plate being the centre of focus, I was excited to recreate it at home. Burgogi is a new business that has launched their products into the market this last few weeks. We were gifted a box of the Korean Table BBQ meal kits,…

Having a fantastic traditional burger is what we live for. The beef, cheese, toppings, and condiments is the driver of this website. When we met Burgogi, not so long ago, they offered us to try their Korean BBQ, which was fantastic. Since, we have had our eyes on the Korean Seoul Meal Kit, which is a Korean-inspired burger kit. My excitement couldn’t have even prepared me for the immense amount of flavor within that box! What is it about Korean Burgers? I asked myself this question when I opened the box! I have an expectation of Korean food to be…

M&S Wagyu Burger Tried, Tested, and Rated As much as I love eating out at some of the country’s best burger joints, I also enjoy cooking up a storm. I have tried a number of burger patties from various supermarkets and have always been disappointed. After heading to Marks and Spencers to grab some fruit, if you know you know, I came across a surprising addition to the meat section. M&S Wagyu Burger patties! They were two for 5.50 which could be seen as a little steep in comparison to the 4 quarter pounders for 4 quid. But, I figured…

I think since being a young kid, the thought of having burgers in the oven has scarred me. My Mother was one of those types of parents that thought she could make everything better than a restaurant; the truth was, she couldn’t! In fact, I distinctly remember crying out for a Friday night McDonalds as a kid many times. I was always greeted with the same compromise – “I’ll make you Mummy Burgers”. My brothers and I would be slyly happy we were not about to endure another night of tripe or sheep hearts, but Mummy Burgers were no walk…

At Cheeseburgerme, we have often discussed chicken burgers to be featured more in our content. Every time it is discussed, it falls out of favor. I am a fan of a good chicken burger, but, finding a good one in the UK is tougher than perhaps I realize. The grab-and-go KFC chicken burgers, which sometimes taste like you are eating cardboard with mayo, are not the best advertisement. Maybe the service station feeling that KFC can sometimes radiate deters me from ordering anything but side breasts. So, today, I want to discuss what makes the perfect chicken burger and who…
