Eager to try this restaurant after finding them online I decided to try an extra Burger this weekend. A little off scope and a little out of my proverbial jurisdiction down in Brighton, Bokshop was a serendipitous wild card due to my essential travel today. Over the last year, we have reviewed most of the burger chains around London. We still have a few on our wish list but this month I wanted to get to at least one independent burger restaurant as finding that “diamond in the rough” is the secret wish we all have as reviewers. Last week I had to run an errand in South Kensington and a quick map check turned up Jimmy’s Grill with an impressive 4.7 Google review score which made it the tops in the area. Around the office, I am the one who normally gives out burger advice. It was a birthday celebration and nostalgic North American tastebuds that brought us to Wendy’s Burger in Reading. Eight years ago, I willingly stood in the long lines in Covent Garden to try Five Guys when it first came to the UK. Friends in North America had highly recommended it and it was worth the wait. Hidden away by Kingston University inside the middle of a row of houses is Farm Fresh Burgers. Having driven past the restaurant multiple times I have probably overlooked them as a potential review spot for Cheeseburgerme.
