Popeyes Fried Chicken, although technically out of our jurisdiction, is a brand that has had my eyes watering because of its inaccessible journey across the pond. Just the thought of those golden pieces of chicken is enough to make a grown man feel warm inside. Seeing that they are about to launch in the UK on November 20 means a trip to Stratford for us!

I have been reluctant to try any vegan burger, it really just is not my bag! However, with the addition of a Red Bean Burger with a ‘creole’ seasoning, I am ready to give this one a go at Popeyes!

Have we now found a restaurant that can compete with the Fried Chicken superpower KFC in England? I sincerely hope so.
